Transpais hires 6x more bus operators a month, all over WhatsApp
A 95-year-old Mexican bus line moved its whole hiring front door onto one WhatsApp line. Drivers and depot crews now apply, screen and send their documents in a single chat.

Before: personal phones and no paper trail
Transpais has carried passengers across Tamaulipas, Nuevo León and San Luis Potosí since 1930. Keeping that network running takes a constant stream of new people: bus operators, drivers, mechanics, electricians, body-shop specialists, cleaning crews and security staff, spread across depots in dozens of cities.
Before Talkpush, hiring them was entirely manual. Recruiters worked the phones and messaged candidates from their personal WhatsApp. Every applicant lived on one recruiter’s phone, and every step of the process was handled one person at a time.
Nothing was traced. There was no record of who had said what to whom, or when. If a recruiter was out, their candidates went quiet with them. And nobody, not recruiters, not area managers, could look across all the applicants and see the whole pipeline.
The fix: one company line, every conversation on record
Transpais chose Talkpush to run its high-volume hiring. Personal phones are out. Every applicant now talks to Transpais on one verified company WhatsApp line, where an AI assistant asks which city and role they want, checks requirements such as a federal driving licence, and collects ID documents in the same chat.
Every message is traced in one place, so the team always knows who said what and when. The whole pipeline, from screening to driving test, medicals and paperwork, is visible to everyone, and Autoflow moves candidates through it without recruiters handling each one by hand.

After: one conversation, from "hola" to hired
Candidates apply from the phone already in their pocket, in Spanish, at any hour. Most finish the whole interview without leaving the chat, and recruiters spend their time on the people who are ready to drive.
One front door
Facebook, job boards and walk-ins all lead to the same WhatsApp line, for every role and every city.
Automation carries the load
Five of every six pipeline moves happen automatically: reminders, folder moves and next steps.
Documents in the chat
INE, birth certificate and other pre-hire documents arrive in the same conversation as the screening.
Managers in the loop
Talkpush and SAP are being connected so area managers can see where every candidate stands, without asking.
Area managers used to chase us for status by email and phone all day. Now candidates do everything on WhatsApp, from applying to sending their documents, and we focus on hiring.
The results
One WhatsApp line now carries hiring for operators and depot crews across three states.

What’s next: SAP in the loop
Transpais is connecting Talkpush to SAP, so every hiring update shows up where area managers already work. The next status email will be the last one.
